An additional method of giving is through the Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program. The program will link your Kroger Plus Card to the Rita B. Huff Humane Society and Animal Shelter, which will benefit the shelter each time you shop.

Kroger requires that each participant in the Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program registers their preference for an organization - this will make the connection between the Kroger Plus Card and the Rita B. Huff Humane Society and Animal Shelter. Once the organization preference has been registered with the Kroger Plus Card, the purchases that you make at any Kroger Store will be linked and credited to the animal shelter.

The process is easy for getting started. You will need to download the following letter, print it off, and take it with you the next time you shop at Kroger. Present the letter with the barcode for our organization to your cashier upon checkout. After they have scanned your Kroger Plus Card you will be enrolled for the current year of the Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program. If you are unable to download the letter, then you can also visit the Rita B. Huff Animal Shelter and pick up a card that will have the barcode printed on it for our organization.

Every time you shop at Kroger and use your enrolled Kroger Plus Card, Kroger will contribute a percentage of your eligible purchases to the Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation fund. Once a letter or card is scanned with the barcode, your Kroger Plus Card will be active for the remainder of the program year (the barcode will need to be rescanned annually at the checkout after July 1st which is the beginning of the next program year).

The Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program is fast and simple, and it will provide the animal shelter with valuable resources throughout the year. We ask that you please download the letter, or visit the animal shelter to pick up a card, and bring it with you the next time you shop at Kroger. Thank you in advance for keeping the Rita B.
